VHS Tracking Issue 30 - "Romance"
"We are here to ruin ourselves and to break our hearts" - Moonstruck (1987)
Cinema... isn't it romantic? Going out to the movies is obviously a perfect choice for a date choice. But what to see? A Romantic comedy or a drama about heart-break? And did the movies set us up for unrealistic expectations or do they prove love's very existence through their cellulod magic? We have an issue of the VHS Tracking zine to answer all these questions!
VHS Tracking is an A5-sized, double sided, two page, fold-out zine. And across its pages are writing and images by a variety of people, all devoted to the theme of Romance.
Cover art by Hana Arai based on the film, Before Sunrise (1995). The issue also features artwork by Olive Coakley.
Written reviews from the following contributors: Erika Johanson, Giles Chan, Laura Blundell, Alastair McLean, Jordan Passauer, Guuleed Ismail, Stephanie Sutcliffe, Dwayne Tillman, Lauren Salt, Mia Palmer-Verevis, Alyssa Velasco and Sally Hall.
